VOLUNTEER COACHES NEEDED! No experience is necessary; we will provide training & equipment.
Contact rescamilla@me.com or call 304-0004 if you are interested.
Annual Dues Now Due
It's a new calendar year, so you know what that means? Your annual membership dues to Amador Tennis Club
are now due! Membership is just $20 per household or $10 per individual and entitles you to reduced
entry fees to our tournaments. It also helps with facilities maintenance costs to keep the courts
clean and the lights on. Though the court resurfacing project at Argonaut is complete, we
have a long "wish list" for additional improvements at Argonaut and elsewhere. We sincerely
appreciate your support in making tennis available on free public courts throughout the county.

High School Tennis
Starts Soon
Our two local high school tennis teams, Argonaut and Amador, will begin their match season in February. The Argonaut Mustangs,
coached by Andy O'Loan and Rosalie Escamilla, will seek to continue a streak of strong recent seasons.
Chris Fuller returns as coach of the Amador
Buffaloes and will bring great competition to the league.
High school matches are
free so come out and watch some exciting tennis and support our local youth. You may even see some of our
Jr. Team Tennis alumni who are now playing at the varsity and junior varsity levels!

We had GREAT weather for our annual kickoff to the new year. Yummy food, warm temperatures, and fun round robin tennis.
What more could you want? In the men's division,
Christian DuCray landed in a three-way tie with Mike "Dredger" Daly & Jerry Beeman. Nancy O'Loan won the women's division. John Escamilla won the prize for
oldest competitor; Sierra Madden won for youngest competitor. Thanks to all who came out to ring in the new year!
