New Year's Day Brunch a Success!
In spite of grim predictions for rainy weather and an early morning bit of precipitation,
the courts at Argonaut
High School were dry for ATC players who shook off the New Year's revelry and assembled at 10am on January 1st.
Fourteen players and
one official set up tables of delicious brunch treats, coffee and juice before
drawing numbers and taking to the courts for nearly two hours of
happy competition. Despite what the photos indicate, there was actually round-robin tennis and not just eating!

Argonaut Court Renovation
ATC has adopted our most-used courts as our community tennis project for the new year. We hope to raise enough money to
replace some damaged asphalt, repair cracks and fill, then resurface/repaint/restripe the courts at Argonaut High School.
The total project cost is $15,000-$20,000 and we also hope to recruit some volunteer labor for other work around the courts.

Spring Jr. Team Tennis Dates Set
Mark your calendars now! Our next season of Junior Team Tennis will take place April 17-May 22.
Boys & girls ages 7-15 play doubles on co-ed teams in three ability levels: beginning, intermediate and advanced.
Beginners use foam balls and a short court format, intermediates play full court with low-compression balls, and
advanced is regular doubles play with rotation of teammates. It's a great way to learn to play tennis while
having fun with friends! Registration will open in February.
