Project Update: Argonaut Court Restoration
The estimates are in and it appears that to do the best job for our Argonaut High School tennis courts facelift, we'll need closer to $25,000 than
our original estimate of $20,000. That's the bad news.
The good news is that we have already raised more than $21,000 and reaching $25,000 is very much in sight. We are still scheduling presenting to groups
and donations have continued to come in. Anyone who has been considering this, please don't hold back. If we end
up with "extra", it will be put in a special fund for court improvement, maintenance and/or repair. There are certainly other courts in the county that could use help!
Our project team is narrowing down the contract bids,
and the board should vote shortly to award a construction contract. We hope to begin the renovation after the high school tennis season ends.
